Testimonials from past students:
'Highly recommended for anyone wanting some grown-up creative exploration.'
'I learnt so much ... Also, being with others who love creativity, I came away feeling inspired to do more creative things.'
Art is good for you and is as important to your health as a balanced diet and exercise. It is not limited by age, physical health or art training, so make some time for yourself and join us.
You will be guided through various activities, and provided with many ideas and creative stimuli on anything from facing your fears and creating community, to finding beauty in the ordinary. Not every exercise turns into a finished piece, but that's part of the challenge. Art Play is quirky, colourful, exciting, frequently messy, sometimes silly, occasionally challenging, and nearly always fun.
After the course finishes, you have the option to join the Art Play Alumni, many of whom continue to meet monthly to play.
If you're intrigued but not converted, phone Robyn at Opendrawer to find out more.
